No, I'm not quoting the band Chicago here....my man Dean! Dean Karnazes the "Ultra Marathon Man." He is amazing! Little bit of his resume....50 marathons in 50 days, numerous wins at the Western States 100 (as in miles) and a 200 mile relay race. BUT he didn't relay....all 200 miles on his own and showed up the next day for work at 8:00am after running 200 miles straight!!!!! He da' man! If it wasn't for this book we would not be even attempting this adventure! So I guess you can ask me again on November 1st if he is my Hero or my Nemesis!
