Every little bit helps.....

My heart has really been aching this week for the babies I have posted about. First and foremost, pray for their healing and for strength and comfort for the parents/family. Not only do they have sick babies, they also have to manage to take care of everything else in their lives that we take for granted daily. The Barnard's have 3 other daughters at home and they are taking turns each week in Cincinnati to try to meet the needs of all of their children. Jessica and Brandon are literally meeting on the road for a quick bite to eat and then heading in different directions to provide for their children. Brandon is doing all of this while trying to balance his career as a firefighter (and they have crazy schedules as it is). It is exhausting just to think about and they have been doing this since March 28th. I pray for their strength and their health as well.

Pace with Purpose would like to help out. Travel expenses from here to Cincinnati alone several times a week and accommodations will obviously add up over the long haul. They are staying at a Ronald McDonald House, praise the Lord, but even the requested donation would add up quickly.

The remaining month of May and all of June we will be taking donations through Paypal for the Barnard family. The month of July we will collect for Keegan Chupp's family. Every little bit helps! Donate directly to Paypal in the upper right hand corner.

We sometimes struggle asking each month for donations for so many causes. Then I step back and think"no, there are hurting people right here in Evansville that need our love, prayers, and support." We get so wrapped up in our lives and little things and take things for granted daily. These babies are fighting for their lives. These parents are sacrificing everything for them. I will say with all my heart that as a parent I cannot imagine how helpless they must feel. Please continue to pray for these families.
