July is Keegan's month

Thank you to all that contributed to the Barnard's (http://www.barnardkids.blogspot.com/). They are dear friends of mine and it truly touched me to see how many people who have never met them contributed to help them. Thank you so much.
Unfortunately, I know yet another family in dire need of prayer and financial help. It saddens me to know another couple that is having to watch their baby fight for his life.
Meet 10-month-old Keegan.....
Keegan was delivered 6 weeks premature due to the Pre-E and was hospitalized in the NICU for 2 weeks after birth. At birth we found he had 2 extra digits, one on each hand and 1 extra toe. They also found out that he had a stroke in utero and possiably has an overgrowth syndrome callled Simpson-Golobi-Behmel Syndrome. He has had many test since birth and was monitored with bi-yearly CT/Ultrasounds to check for tumors.
Just recently, after many misdiagnosis, they found a tumor growing in the 4th ventricle of his brain and now it is pushing on his brain stem and causing his system to fail. Keegan is undergoing a 4-6 hour surgery today. Their oncologist told them they are looking at 6 months of treatment, in hospital, chemo (the most aggressive you can get) and even then our prognosis is less than 50%.
The month of July we are collecting for the Chupp family. Please say a prayer for this sweet little boy and his family.
